Theo
Fels
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Designing publications and web sites for prominent news, corporate
and media/entertainment clients, Theo is highly regarded for
his adroit use of design to intensify communications impact
and address critical business issues.
A seasoned digital news designer, Theo directed the
online redesigns of the Independent newspapers in
Ireland, England, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.
He
also redesigned chron.com, the web site of the Houston
Chronicle as well as Rumbo and La
Voz, both
high-end Spanish-language newspapers.
His
other media and entertainment clients have included Bloomberg.com,
The New York Sun, CondéNet, MSNBC, MTV, HBO, Newsweek, Metro Newspapers, AOL and Univision.
During
Theo’s 20+ years as an art director and a designer, he has
led publication, multimedia and annual report engagements
for IBM, American Express, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer
Center, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Coca-Cola, Alcoa
and Goldman Sachs, among other firms.
His
work has been widely recognized by the design industry’s
elite publications and organizations, including Print, How, Communication Arts, Graphis, ARC, and the Society of Publication
Designers.
Before establishing his own studio, Theo was creative director
at Danilo Black Inc., and prior to that he was managing director
of VSA Partners’ New York studio.
He holds bachelor’s
degrees in art and art history from the University of California,
Santa Cruz. |

Faye
Richardson
EDITORIAL
DIRECTOR
With more than 20 years corporate and commercial communications
experience, Faye brings distinctive insights and clarity to
the work of Richardson+Fels.
She has
written, managed, produced and implemented successful communications
programs, publications and web sites for American Express,
Time Warner, Goldman Sachs and IBM, among other clients.
Faye specializes in corporate communications strategy and content
development. Distinguished by a high level of editorial quality,
creativity and substance, her portfolio includes corporate
histories, documentaries and reportage, shareholder communications,
content architecture and editorial production for consumer
web sites and employee intranets.
She has
partnered with companies to develop highly effective communications
programs to support key initiatives such as employee diversity
and recognition, executive recruitment, corporate compliance
and crisis management, as well as strategic shifts in company
policy, organizational structure and business direction.
Faye has received a number of awards for her work in print and online communications, including both Gold and Silver Quills from the International Association of Business Communicators.
Prior to establishing her own practice, Faye headed corporate-wide
online and print communications for American Express.
She received
a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northern Arizona
University in Flagstaff, Arizona. |
